The 1440 Vision

It has been twenty-five years since the launch of the eCommerce giants Amazon and eBay. Today, eCommerce is a way of life.

Yet 1440 Founder and Senior Engineer, Jon Jessup has been amazed at how slowly companies have adapted to the digital world. Today, most companies are far from completing digital transformation, which he sees as the "key to saving time performing manual back-office tasks."

In 2009, Jon had a vision to help companies with digital transformation. Using Salesforce platform, he could help eCommerce companies integrate and consolidate disparate processes behind a single login.

Jon created his first company, Cloud Conversion (now Commerce Studio), with the mission of reducing the pains of owning and operating a multichannel eCommerce business. His Salesforce native solutions provided the automation of many manual tasks like inventory tracking, shipping and logistics. He also solved for siloed customer communications across a growing number of online marketplaces. 

Jon's motivation has always come directly from solving his customers' most time-consuming problems. In the past few years, he built both Reputation Studio and Translation studio after hearing that Fortune 500 companies were still copying and pasting review text into shared spreadsheets.

In 2019, a light bulb went off in Jon’s head when his fitness coach mentioned the number of minutes in a day: 1,440.

As a passionate skier, golfer and father, this resonated with Jon. In that moment, he made it his mission to help businesses get more of those precious moments back by optimizing and automating the repeatable tasks that take up too much time. Today, his vision is to give people more time to focus on what they love and gain the most from what they have.

In 2020, the three companies merged to form 1440 Inc.
