Programs are supported through special events, grants from private corporations and foundations, individual donations, and program fees. All activities are offered at an affordable rate and scholarships are available, ensuring participation for all applicants.

Recycle Utah

Recycle Utah is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization that has served residents of Summit County since 1991. We are committed to reducing waste and preventing groundwater pollution in our community. We do so by offering a variety of collection programs, education programs, workshops, and events. As long as the health of our local and global environment is a concern, we will strive to offer community-based resources and solutions.

It’s about Water: Groundwater plays an essential role in our environment and public health. What we put in our trash determines what leaches into our groundwater. We help keep toxic waste out of the landfill so our drinking water is safe!

Goodwill® currently has a presence in 12 countries outside of the United States and Canada. In collaborating with Goodwill Industries International, partner non-profits are able to generate revenue to expand their missions and support people who connect to jobs in their local communities through training and support services.

Goodwill Industries International partners with organizations around the world to develop and sustain a Goodwill donated goods retail model. Partners use the revenue from their Goodwill stores towards the job training mission services that they feel will best benefit their local communities. Goodwill works with partners to obtain local funding for their community-based enterprise. Each local partner Goodwill is an independent organization that is governed by its local leadership.

One Tree Planted operates in 6 regions across the world in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America, and the Pacific. One Tree Planted acts as an intermediary for tree planting by collecting donations from individuals, businesses, and other organizations and then allocating the funds to its reforestation partners for specific projects. The partners (environmental NGOs, small conservation organizations, watershed groups, and local governmental agencies) use the funds to plant trees in areas they are needed most.
